Dance, Didge and Weaving

Song and dance teach us about animals and what they represent or do for us. They also pass down knowledge of how our Old People lived and their Cultural practices. Traditional weaving techniques teach us the vital role weaving plays in the day-to-day Cultural practices of our Old People.

Mentoring

We build relationships with the kids so they are comfortable with talking and expressing their feelings and emotions.

We talk about the harm of bottling up our emotions. This is done with weekly sessions with outcomes tailored for each child’s progress.
